Assistant Dean

Catherine Hill Shaw the daughter of the Joe and Ada Hill, is the second

oldest sibling of five which consisted of two girls and three boys. She

matriculated in the Jefferson County School system where she attended Lipscomb Elementary and Shades Valley High.

 

She furthered her education by attending the University of Montevallo and Lawson State in the study of Chemistry and Biology, she has completed COPP program, and a prospected future student of Birmingham Easonia Baptist Bible College.

 

She is the wife of Sgt. Fred Shaw where they have three children, Michael,Catrina and Candice. She is a dedicated member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church of Hillman Station, under the Pastor Dr. Edward E. Rodgers, where she and Fred wed in Holy matrimony thirty-five years.

 

Catherine is honored to serve in the position as Assistant Dean of the

Jefferson County District. She is the assistant Sunday School teacher,

member of the mission ministry in her church. She is an instructor in the district and state levels which she enjoys also. Her highest position is a servant in the Kingdom of God that, gives her joy.

 

One of her favorite scripture is Ps 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. This scripture keeps reminding her of the joy, peace, protection, and love that God gives to His children that He truly LOVE which is all that have accepted Jesus as their SAVIOR.
