Yolanda Renita Gayle Brown

 Yolanda Renita Gayle Brown is a born again child of God who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  She is a native of Bessemer, Alabama and is the daughter of the late Emma Gayle McDonald and the late Deacon Willie L.  Moore, Sr.  She was raised by her loving grandparents the late Wiley Richard & Annie Lee Gayle.  Yolanda received her education from the Bessemer School System, graduating with honors from Jess Lanier High School in 1976 and her B. S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

 

Yolanda was employed with Collateral Mortgage Company/New South Federal Savings Bank as a Mortgage Loan Officer for over 26 years.  She is presently employed as a registered income tax professional with J. H. Tax Service as the Store Manager for the Bessemer location.

 

She is an active member of the Greater Fourteenth Street Missionary Baptist Church were her late husband Reverend Stanley A. Brown was the former Pastor and Reverend Dr. Jiles Burgines, III is her pastor.  She is the teacher for the Minister, Deacon and Trustee Wives Ministry , leader of the Women’s Ministry,  a Youth Ministry Worker, Praise Dance and Mime Ministry Supervisor and church secretary.  Yolanda is also active with the Jefferson County District Missionary Baptist Association serving as Chairman of the Widow and Widowers Ministry, former 2nd Vice President of the Women’s Auxiliary, former Co-Chairlady for the Ministers’ Wives and Widows Ministry, member of the Education Committee, Instructor for the Congress of Christian Education and Youth Department worker. She also serves as 2nd Co-Chairlady for the Northwest District State Minister Wives and Widows, Assistant Corresponding Secretary for the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Women’s Auxiliary, member of the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Minister Wives and Widows, a member of the Alabama Association of Minister Wives and Minister Widows and the International Association of Minister Wives and Minister Widows.  She has completed courses at the Birmingham Easonian Baptist Bible College and the Jefferson County District Missionary Baptist Association Congress of Christian Education COPP program, Phase I and II and parts of Phase III and IV.

 

Yolanda’s greatest joy outside of her love for Jesus Christ are her two children Allen Randall (Keon) & Allencia Gabrielle and grandchildren, Madison Rae and Miles Langston who affectionately call her “Hey Lady”.
